Hidden Worlds is part of the cenotes on the Yucatan Peninsula. The cenotes are a vast system of interconnected underwater caves. Hidden Worlds near Tulum is an adventure park with amazing underwater caves, as can be seen in the pictures and videos.
For the Maya these rivers are drinking water reservoirs. A very specific tree shows them the way to the caves, because its roots reach into the rivers. In the cave there are numerous stalactites and stalagmites, which is why a visit to this cave system is not completely safe. But the security is given priority. So you may enter the cave only with life jacket and helmet. In old tradition a prayer is said to the Mayan god of the underworld, so he lets every visitor back out of the cave. The Maya always do it, because nothing is easier, than losing the orientation in the labyrinth of the caves. Therefore it is not allowed, to go alone in the caves. The cave itself is an absolute dream and a whole different world. Mostly you walk through the cave and partly you swim through the crystal clear water. At the most beautiful places the cave is lit up, otherwise you have a lamp on the helmet. Hard to believe, but there also live fishes in the underground river in complete darkness. These cave fishes only live in Mexico and Belize.
